About Frances Cahill, Keynote Speaker
Frances Cahill worked in public administration for over 28 years. Her career has included stints at Radio 2EA and SBS TV, living in Aurukun, Western Cape York for five months and performing the ‘blue-footed-booby-will-you-marry-me-dance’ in front of a group of Tasmanian local politicians and dignitaries as a Joey Scout leader.
Her academic background is in Linguistics and she has been writing for over 30 years. She has launched her own business as a wordsmith and business communications specialist and her dreams are being realised in the world of writing and training.
She is a passionate about the value of quality writing skills and empowering business owners and their staff to write and communicate with confidence. She is an engaging and inspirational speaker; with humour and warmth she will let you in on the secrets of good writing skills and convince you grammar is not a dirty word.
